In collaboration with Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and also Leeds Teaching Hospitals, we are hoping to host a Clinical Scientist trainee from the 2014 intake.
The AT team currently has 4 Clinical Scientists on the staff and we believe this a key profession within Assistive Technology. Within Clinical Science, Assistive Technology sits within the Clinical Engineering specialism.
As part of the process of hosting a trainee, the Yorkshire and Humber group have put together an open day. The website registration is now open for this: http://www.medphysics.leeds.ac.uk/nhs/careers-revised.html
We hope this will help encourage people with the right skills to follow the Clinical Science career path – and to help us have a sustainable workforce in the exciting area of Assistive Technology. If you are one of these people, then hopefully see you at Leeds in January!
